Liu Kuo-Sung Ink Art Award 2025 took place on 4 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre during Fine Art Asia.

This year is the fourth edition of the Award. There is a new panel of observers and jurists from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and the distinguished panel of observers and jurists is composed of curators, scholars, and critics, including Sun Dongdong, Cui Cancan, Jiang Jun, Lee Ho Cheung and Wu Chitao. For each edition of the prize, observers propose candidates for consideration by the jury. The nominated candidates must be born in or after 1985, and must be born or working in the Greater China region. A total of fifteen artists have entered the first-stage list.

The judges was composed of five scholars and experts, including Liu Kuo-sung, Nancy Lee, Lai Hsiang-ling, Zhang Zikang, and Alan C. Yeung. They convened a meeting in Hong Kong on 28 August. After two rounds of judging, the Liu Kuo-sung Foundation and the Ink Society are delighted to announce Hung Hsuan (b. 1992, lives and works in Kaohsiung) as the winner of the fourth edition of the Liu Kuo-sung Ink Art Award. Honorable mentions have been awarded to Huang Jingjie(b. 1988, lives and works in Hangzhou) and Zhang Wenzhi (b. 1993, lives and works in Beijing and Dalian).
